This lamp has a power factor of 0.7.
For 8 lamps each 5.5W you need a 12V transformer or power supply with minimum
5.5W / 0.7 x 8 = 62.85W, better a little bit more: 65 watt or greater.
Note:
that higher power is required for starting the lamps. If all lamps are lighting the power is only 8 x 5.5W = 44W.
The lamps are not dimmable.
Examples of transformers or power supplies (all links to Elpro):
Talema RKT 80 VA 2x12 V, toroidal transformer.
Talema RKTV 80VA 2x12V, potted toroidal transformer.
Meanwell RS-75: 12V/6A = max. 72W --> very low cost.
Meanwell NPF-90-12: 12V/7.5A = max. 90W --> waterproof IP67.
