Is it possible to fit narrrow beam angle lenses to the matrix board. We want to create a collimated light box with your matrix but the light of each LED needs to be focused in a narrow beam angle, preferably 5 degrees to provide maximum collimation of the light beams

Why not?
In our shop you find different lenses with a small viewing angle gte* 10°,
but no lenses with a super small viewing angle less than 10°.
Please search on another places.
Note:
in 1m distance the spot is approx. 8.7cm in diameter and have approx. 3331 lux (lumens per square meter).
The light of each led with a lens is very bright and potentially dangerous, similar to a laser.
Note 2:
every glass or equivalent material sucks light. Best of is around 92%.
for 1 led: 19.92 lumens on input --> glass --> approx. 18.3 lumens on output.
* gte = greater than or equal
